Why so many GTA plumbing quotes don't hold up
A lot of estimates you get in Toronto are built to win the job, not to describe the job. A number gets quoted, and once a wall is opened or a trap is pulled apart, the 'surprises' start. We do it the other way around: we scope first, then price.
The three-number trick
Some outfits give you a low headline number knowing extras will appear once work starts — a cracked fitting, an outdated shutoff, a run that doesn't meet current code. We inspect before we quote, so the number you get is the number you pay.
